Re: damp in ground floor rooms

damp spots will apear where moisture is not able to freely evaporate through a material or disperse in the ground

as you have a varying arrangement of materials within the structure and you mention no condition in the surrounding land i would need more specific info

call me to arrange a sit visit

cement renders to timber frame damage

ive been informed that to remove existing 60's cement renders damaging my timber frame will result in pulling off half the strucutral timbers as mesh is binding the whole thing together

Re: damp in ground floor rooms

one has to approach these things individually and it would appear that you have to be prepared to do more investigation and amount for supporting your structure whilst the required works are gently and slowly carried out. i would think that the mesh /mess you mentioned will need to be cut through with a d/disk metre by metre and patience is of the essence.

call me for further details j/.t.
